We went to Legoland today! It was too cold to play in all of the water areas of the park, but we got to ride our very first "real ride" - a plane that went around in a big oval and whipped us around the corners. I got to sit in the front seat all by myself! We also rode on a big pirate ship that rocked back and forth and spun around. I liked it at first, but then I got a little scared. Daddy made faces at me so that I wouldn't be scared anymore, but I was still happy when it was time to get off. Mommy even got us a set of Toy Story Duplo blocks with Jesse and Bullseye!

Today we drove down to Carlsbad to visit Grammy & Papa, who were camping at Carlsbad State Beach. We even got to meet some of our relatives who were also at the campground! Not sure what Grandma DiDi's cousins & their kids would be to us... but we liked them. :) It was too cold to play in the water - but Papa, Daddy and I threw rocks into the water while Mommy, Grammy and Liv walked down the beach to collect rocks. It was fun!!

Today was the 4th of July! We spent the day watching movies, doing a little shopping, finger painting, playing outside, and having a BBQ. Mommy and Daddy even let us stay up 2 hours past our bedtime so that we could watch the fireworks - woo hoo! They wanted us to sleep in the next morning, but Liv and I decided to wake up early for more fun!! Hee hee...

Our last adventure with toddler beds didn't turn out too well. Livienne and I were having WAY too much fun to sleep. I mean, have you ever tried jumping in and out of bed all afternoon? We have... many times!! So, Mommy & Daddy converted them back into cribs. But, after promising to be good sleepers, they gave us back our toddler beds for good- and we've been SO good!!

This morning we decided to be a little crazy and use chopsticks for the very first time... for breakfast. Why? Well... why not! :)

We got some new swimsuits today... is it warm enough to go to the beach yet? No?... How 'bout now?... Now?

This morning we woke up to the sounds of our talking eggs, and baskets full of goodies from the Easter Bunny! He even brought us tricycles! But I think my favorite thing of the whole day was my M&M's! I stole some of Livienne's when she wasn't looking, and there was no way I was going to let go of my M&M eggs during the egg hunt! :) See Video Slideshow!

When we came home from school today, Mommy & Daddy said they had a surprise for us. We went to our room & saw toddler beds!! We're free!!!!!! I spent most of the weekend enjoying my new-found freedom by refusing to nap, jumping out of bed over and over at bedtime, and waking up Livienne at 5:30am. Fun!!

Today we drove down to San Diego to celebrate Mackenzie's first birthday! We used the new DVD player in our Q7, and it was a great drive watching movies. We got to play with balloons, meet Mackenzie & a bunch of other friends, and create general mahem at the party! Happy Birthday Mackenzie!

Today was Christmas! Mommy made us go straight to the kitchen to eat breakfast after we woke up, since it was still a little early. Once Grandma DiDi, Grammy & Papa were awake we went to see what Santa brought - a train set and a stocking full of surprises! We had such a fun time today with all of our family- we even got to play with our cousins & Grandma Mary! See Video Slideshow!

Mommy, Daddy, Livienne & I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo today. It was lots of fun seeing all of the animals that we normally just see in books & on TV! The Elephants were a little bit scary (and really smelly!), but the Penguins were officially our favorite animals to see. I can't wait to go back! See Video Slideshow!

We celebrated Thanksgiving today, and talked about everything that we're thankful for. I am thankful for having a healthy & loving family, my best friend Livienne, and my favorite movie Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs! Daddy made a fantastic turkey, and Mommy fixed us mashed potatoes, green beans, apple pie & cheesecake!

Today was Halloween, and I dressed up as a skeleton - I even glowed in the dark! At school Livienne and I marched in the Halloween Parade with Mommy & Daddy, and as soon as the sun went down we went trick-or-treating at all of our neighbors' houses. Mommy & Daddy stole all of our candy... but they did let us have the toys & pretzels! :)

Grandma DiDi visited us again this weekend, and we had lots of fun playing in the backyard! Mommy & Daddy even got a chance to go out for a "date night"... a very rare event! Thanks Grandma DiDi!

I am officially 2 years old - can you believe it? We had a great birthday party to celebrate, and lots of our family & friends were there. It was lots of fun! I even got my very own birthday cupcake with a candle on top... but, wouldn't even try a bite! Mommy & Daddy didn't seem to mind too much - they ate it for me and said it was fantastic!

Today was my very first visit to an amusement park! We went to Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium, and it was so much fun. We got to run, play & build with Legos, and then we saw lots of fish in the aquarium! See Video Slideshow!

This month we had our very first summer vacation! We went to Carlsbad and hung out with Grandma Didi and the Gyolai's. It was the first time Livienne and I have stayed in a hotel, so it was quite the adventure! We went to the beach 3 days in a row, and we loved it there! See Slideshow!

Today Grammy & Papa came to visit, and spent the whole day with us! It was great to see them, and play with them all day. Papa even read us lots of books. We can't wait to see them again! See Video!

Today Mommy & Daddy took Livienne and I to the CLU pool for our very first swimming lesson. It was lots of fun! I was a little nervous at first, but by the end of the lesson Daddy had me giggling and kicking my legs! I can't wait for next weekend! See Video!

Today was Easter, and we got to spend it with Grandma DiDi too! The Easter Bunny came and brought us lots of books and binkies! After breakfast we had the coolest Easter Egg hunt - the eggs talked to us! "Come find me... I'm over here!" Mommy took a video of the egg hunt - you can check it out on our Video Gallery page.

Today I had my 18-month checkup with Dr. Chambers. He says I'm doing great - and that I'm going to be talking like crazy by my 2-year appointment! I now weigh 24 lbs 10.5 oz, which is 30th percentile. I am 33 inches tall, just like Livienne - which is 70th percentile in height for boys. Dr. Chambers said that I'm very social! Of course, 'cause I have Liv to play with 24/7!

This month Livienne and I transitioned from our infant room to a brand new toddler room at Camp Amgen. We really miss Ms. Cheryl, Alison, Sara & Daniela - but our new room is so much fun! We get to go outside all the time, and there's a cool play structure outside - even a sandbox to play in! I'm a big kid now!

Today Mommy & Grandma Didi took me shoe shopping with Livienne. Liv and I are currently OBSESSED with shoes, so it was so much fun! Mommy got each of us a pair of new shoes for our transition to the toddler room at Camp Amgen, and Grandma Didi got us each a pair of awesome Converse. We look like rock stars now - thanks Grandma Didi!

Today Mommy & Daddy took us to the park for the first time! Grandma Didi was visiting, so she came with us too. Livienne and I got to play on the swings, go down the slides, and run... and run... and run... across the grass! It was amazing! We had so much fun that Livienne and I both took a REALLY long nap after we came home! I can't wait to go back!! See Videos!

Today was New Year's Day, and Mommy & Daddy said it was time for the baby fence to come down! They got rid of the old giant green couch, and brought in the super cool leather couch & chair. But the best thing of all... is that Livienne and I now have free reign over the whole family room & kitchen! We're freeeeeeee!

Today was Christmas, and we spent it at Grammy & Papa's house. Grandma Didi was staying there too, and Grandma Mary came to visit after we opened stockings! I got lots of fun gifts, but my favorite thing was all the boxes - when Mommy wasn't looking, I climbed on top of them so I could be really tall! :) See Videos!

Today was Thanksgiving, and we got to spend it with Grandma Didi, Grammy & Papa, the SoCal Gilley's, and the Gyolai's! Our cousin Nicole was our official babysitter, and we had lots of fun playing with her. By the time we finished dinner it was time to go, and Livienne and I were so tired we fell asleep before Daddy had even turned the corner in the car!

Today was Halloween, and I got to dress up like a race-car driver! Mommy said it was very appropriate, since I love to run around a lot! We got to go on a parade at Amgen, and we even went trick-or-treating at some of our neighbors houses. Somehow, all of our candy disappeared, though... and Mommy & Daddy both looked very happy (and guilty!).

This morning I had surgery to get tubes in my ears. Dr. Tseng said everything went really well, and Mommy promised me that I won't get so many yuckie ear infections now. When we came home I was so tired that I feel asleep while I was eating in my high chair!

This morning at 7:54am I officially turned 1 year old! I'm such a big boy now!

Today Livienne and I had our very first birthday party. Grandma Didi and Aunt Kathleen decorated the house with lots of streamers and balloons, and Mommy put up Sesame Street decorations too! Our family & friends all came to help celebrate, and we had a blast. We got lots of new clothes and big boy toys, and I even got to have my very first taste of SUGAR!!!

Livienne and I got weighed at the doctor's office yesterday, and I've finally overtaken her in weight!!! For now, anyway. :) I now weigh 20 pounds and 10 ounces! Mommy says this is very exciting, because now we'll be able to turn around the car seats after our first birthday - and look out the front of the car! Cool!

We moved into our new house today, and it's great! Mommy and Daddy love not having any stairs, and my new room is really neat - the walls are blue, and there is a strip of pink at the top. One wall even has stripes on it! I think we'll like it here. We even have a big park near us now - hopefully when I'm older Mommy & Daddy will take me all the time!

I've been cruising for a while now, but today I took my very first step without holding onto anything at all! I'm such a big boy!! Pretty soon I'll be running all over the place, and Mommy and Daddy will barely be able to keep me out of trouble... hee hee hee!

I went swimming for the very first time today, on the 4th of July! Even though I was busy swimming, I refused to let go of my "apple pop"! My favorite part was standing up in the water and trying to walk around... and also trying to figure out why there was no water outside of the pool! It was like magic!

Well, since I have 7 teeth now... Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to start brushing my teeth! I have a special toothbrush and toothpaste for infants... and now my breath smells "mixed fruit" fresh!

Today was my 9-Month checkup with Dr. Chambers. I weighed 18 pounds and 7 ounces, which means I've been gaining up to the 15th percentile! I am 28 inches tall, and the circumference of my head was off the charts!! No wonder Mommy and Daddy were so perplexed when they had to buy me a toddler-size hat the other day!

I officially started "cruising" early this month! For those of you that aren't familiar with the lingo, crusing means walking along while holding onto things - like the couch, or the gym, or all the boxes we have around the house right now. Pretty soon, I'll be walking just like Mommy & Daddy!

Today I pulled myself up into a fully standing position... all by myself! I had been going up into a bent-over stand for a while... but I'm finally standing up tall now! I'm still a little wobbly - when I stand up my hips and knees move back and forth! But, I'm practicing a lot!!

I got my third tooth today! Mommy and Daddy say that I'm a big boy now, because I have three whole teeth! Before they know it, I'll have a whole mouthful of them... just like they do! And then I can eat steak!

Today Livienne and I had a weight check with Dr. Chambers, to see how we're doing now that we're on formula. I now weigh 16 pounds and 10 ounces, which means that I'm now up to the 12th percentile. Dr. Chambers said that I'm doing great!

All of a sudden, I decided to get my balance and start sitting by myself today! I feel so big and tall now... and besides, I was really getting tired of laying on my back and tummy all the time - I needed a new view of the world!

This month I decided that I'm tired of just rolling around on the floor - I am a man that has things to do and places to explore! So, I started army crawling - now I can get from one side of the room to the other in no time at all! There's so much to see and do now that I'm on the move!

Dr. Bahar gave us the thumbs up for moving on to new foods, so I finally got to have my first taste of baby food today! For some reason Mommy and Daddy decided to start with peas - they're a little weird, but I think I might like them!

I'm officially a big kid... I started rice cereal today! It took me a little while to get used to eating food from a spoon, but I think I LOVE it! Now whem I'm at day care I start making chewing motions with my mouth when I see the other kids eating their cereal... yum yum! Give me some!

Today was my 6-month appointment with Dr. Chambers... I'm half way to being 1 year old! I weighed 14 pounds 10 ounces, and I'm 26 inches long. I'm still showing some signs of an allergy to Mommy's milk, even though her diet is really restricted, so we're going to switch to some hypoallergenic formula. The doctor thinks it will help me grow big and strong!

Well, that didn't take long...! Just when I was starting to feel better, another one of those pesky teeth decided to pop through my gums! Mommy and Daddy decided to give me lots of Whiskey and Benadryl this time... just kidding! Hopefully we'll get a little break before any more come!

I tried really hard not to catch Livienne's cold, but it got the best of me!! I don't feel too bad, but I don't like all that junk in my nose and this pesky cough! Mommy says that I'm building up my Immune System and making good Antibodies... but do I have to do it while I'm getting my first teeth too???

This morning Mommy discovered that my first tooth has popped through!! She says that it's the central incisor on my bottom left. It was quite a relief, because I've been a very fussy boy the last few days - especially at 3:00am... and Mommy and Daddy were beginning to think they weren't feeding me enough! I wonder when my next tooth will pop through?

Today was our first day at Camp Amgen! Mommy dropped Livienne and I off on her way to the office, and we got to play with Ms. Allison, Ms. Cheryl, Ms. Daniella, and Ms. Sara! We also got to meet lots of fun new babies to play with (and drool all over)! I'm hoping one of them can teach me how to crawl around like the big kids do!

Mommy went back to work part-time today, so we get to spend our mornings with Daddy and our afternoons with Mommy! Once we go to daycare next month Mommy and Daddy will go back to working full-time... which doesn't sound like nearly as much fun as playing with Livienne and I all day long!

Mommy and Daddy have been weaning me off the Swaddle Blanket for a while now by putting one arm out, but now I've officially graduated to the big kids' league of being swaddle-free! I kept waking up during the night, even though I also got my first Tablespoon of rice cereal in my bottle last night! Hopefully I'll get used to this and sleep better tomorrow night!

Today was my first "official" back to tummy roll! I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now, but Mommy & Daddy didn't count it until I actually got both arms out from underneath me after the roll! Mommy keeps having to flip me back over onto my back in my crib, because I like to flip while I'm supposed to be sleeping!

Today was my 4-Month appointment with Dr. Chambers. He said I'm growing really well - I now weigh 14 pounds and 5 ounces... that's 3 ounces more than Liv! I am also 25 inches tall... and that's half an inch taller than my "little" sister! Unfortunately we had to get more shots today, which I was very unhappy about. But I was a brave boy!

I have done a few "almost" giggles, but Mommy and Daddy decided not to count it until they got a real giggle from me! Daddy was tickling me this morning on my bare tummy and chest, and I finally let out a real giggle for him! That sure made Mommy and Daddy happy!

Today was my very first New Years! Livienne, Daddy and I couldn't make it until Midnight last night - but Mommy and Grandma Didi stayed awake drinking champagne and shopping for baby clothes online! I decided to make a New Year's Resolution to eat, sleep, grow and play like crazy this year!

Today was Christmas! I got to spend lots of time with Mommy and Daddy, and open lots of cool presents from our friends and family. Santa even brought Livienne and I two cool toys, and some stuff in our stockings too! Livienne and I decided to give Mommy & Daddy an extra special surprise today, and we took all of our naps with almost NO crying! Aren't we the best kids ever?

Today was my very first Christmas Eve! It was a very nice day - and I even got to open 2 presents from Mommy & Daddy today! One present was a new sleeper, and the other present was a new book - The Night Before Christmas. We put milk and carrots out for Santa and the reindeer, and then Mommy read to us from our new book!

I rolled over for the first time today! I'm still a little bit slow, but if Mommy and Daddy put me on my tummy, I will eventually flip over onto my back! I'm a mover and a shaker, don't ya know?

I got to meet my Grandma Mary Frances today - we were so lucky that she was able to come visit for a few days! She got to feed us, burp us, hold us, and love us up! She even made Mommy and Daddy dinner and snacks one night, and did our laundry too! Liv and I can't wait until we get to see her again!

Today we got to meet Kari & Jon, who came out for a quick visit. They were so nice, and even brought Liv and I some fancy Calvin Klein onesies and Halloween bibs! Unfortunately I was sleeping, so they held Livienne instead of me - but, I'm hoping they'll come back to visit again soon so that I can get some love too!

Today Mommy and Daddy took Livienne and I on our first walk around the block in our stroller! It probably would have been more fun if I hadn't been asleep the whole time... and if it hadn't have been so bright outside! Do they make cool sunglasses like Daddy's in my size?

Mommy, Livienne and I came home from the hospital today! Grandma Didi was at home waiting for us, and decorated the house - inside and out - to welcome us home! It's a good thing that Grandma was there, too... otherwise I don't think Mommy and Daddy would have had time to eat anything for dinner!

I was so happy to meet Grandma Didi today, while Mommy was still in the hospital! She stayed with us for almost 3 weeks, and helped out Mommy, Daddy, Livienne and I with everything - cooking, cleaning, feeding us, changing our diapers, doing laundry... and loving us!! We were so sad when she had to leave, and can't wait to see her again!

I was born today! I would have happily stayed in Mommy's nice cozy tummy for a while longer, but Dr. Poliakin thought that it was best for my sister and I to join the world a little earlier than expected - he is such a great doctor, and brought me into the world happy and healthy!
