We went to Legoland today! It was too cold to play in all of the water areas of the park, but we got to ride our very first "real ride" - a plane that went around in a big oval and whipped us around the corners. I got to sit in the front seat all by myself! We also rode on a big pirate ship that rocked back and forth and spun around. I loved it!! Mommy even got us a set of Toy Story Duplo blocks with Jesse and Bullseye!

Today we drove down to Carlsbad to visit Grammy & Papa, who were camping at Carlsbad State Beach. We even got to meet some of our relatives who were also at the campground! Not sure what Grandma DiDi's cousins & their kids would be to us... but we liked them. :) It was too cold to play in the water - but Mommy, Grammy and I walked along the beach and collected pretty rocks while Papa, Daddy & Dathan threw rocks into the waves. It was fun!!

Today was the 4th of July! We spent the day watching movies, doing a little shopping, finger painting, playing outside, and having a BBQ. Mommy and Daddy even let us stay up 2 hours past our bedtime so that we could watch the fireworks - woo hoo! They wanted us to sleep in the next morning, but Dathan and I decided to wake up early for more fun!! Hee hee...

Our last adventure with toddler beds didn't turn out too well. Dathan and I were having WAY too much fun to sleep. I mean, have you ever tried jumping in and out of bed all afternoon? We have... many times!! So, Mommy & Daddy converted them back into cribs. But, after promising to be good sleepers, they gave us back our toddler beds for good- and we've been SO good!!

This morning we decided to be a little crazy and use chopsticks for the very first time... for breakfast. Why? Well... why not! :)

We got some new swimsuits today... is it warm enough to go to the beach yet? No?... How 'bout now?... Now?

This morning we woke up to the sounds of our talking eggs, and baskets full of goodies from the Easter Bunny! He even brought us tricycles! But I think my favorite thing of the whole day was being able to eat M&M's, goldfish, yogurt bites, cookies & juice bites for breakfast! Woo hoo, woo hoo, crash...! :) See Video Slideshow!

When we came home from school today, Mommy & Daddy said they had a surprise for us. We went to our room & saw toddler beds!! We're free!!!!!! I love being able to jump out of my bed (literally), but I'm not amused that Dathan keeps turning on the lights at 5:30am and yelling to wake me up... doesn't my brother know how to sleep in??

Today we drove down to San Diego to celebrate Mackenzie's first birthday! We used the new DVD player in our Q7, and it was so much fun watching movies that I didn't nap at all! We got to play with balloons, meet Mackenzie & a bunch of other friends, go potty on a giant toilet, and create general mahem at the party! Happy Birthday Mackenzie!

Today was Christmas! Mommy made us go straight to the kitchen to eat breakfast after we woke up, since it was still a little early. Once Grandma DiDi, Grammy & Papa were awake we went to see what Santa brought - a train set and a stocking full of surprises! We had such a fun time today with all of our family- we even got to play with our cousins & Grandma Mary! See Video Slideshow!

Mommy, Daddy, Dathan & I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo today. It was lots of fun seeing all of the animals that we normally just see in books & on TV! The Elephants were a little bit scary (and really smelly!), but the Penguins were officially our favorite animals to see. I can't wait to go back! See Video Slideshow!

We celebrated Thanksgiving today, and talked about everything that we're thankful for. I am thankful for having a healthy & loving family, my best friend Livienne, and cookies! Daddy made a fantastic turkey, and Mommy fixed us mashed potatoes, green beans, apple pie & cheesecake!

Today was Halloween, and I dressed up as a skeleton - I even glowed in the dark! At school Dathan and I marched in the Halloween Parade with Mommy & Daddy, and as soon as the sun went down we went trick-or-treating at all of our neighbors' houses. Mommy & Daddy stole all of our candy... but they did let us have the toys & pretzels! :)

Grandma DiDi visited us again this weekend, and we had lots of fun playing in the backyard! Mommy & Daddy even got a chance to go out for a "date night"... a very rare event! Thanks Grandma DiDi!

I am officially 2 years old - can you believe it? We had a great birthday party to celebrate, and lots of our family & friends were there. It was lots of fun! I even got my very own birthday cupcake with a candle on top... but, wouldn't even try a bite! Mommy & Daddy didn't seem to mind too much - they ate it for me and said it was fantastic! Today was my very first visit to an amusement park! We went to Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium, and it was so much fun. We got to run, play & build with Legos, and then we saw lots of fish in the aquarium! See Video Slideshow!

This month we had our very first summer vacation! We went to Carlsbad and hung out with Grandma Didi and the Gyolai's. It was the first time Dathan and I have stayed in a hotel, so it was quite the adventure! We went to the beach 3 days in a row, and we loved it there! See Slideshow!

Today Grammy & Papa came to visit, and spent the whole day with us! It was great to see them, and play with them all day. Papa even read us lots of books. We can't wait to see them again! See Video!

Today Mommy & Daddy took Dathan and I to the CLU pool for our very first swimming lesson. I didn't cry at all - Mommy & Daddy were so proud of me! Maybe next weekend I'll release the death grip I had on Mommy so that I can practice my kicks, and blowing bubbles in the water! See Videos!

Today was Easter, and we got to spend it with Grandma DiDi too! The Easter Bunny came and brought us lots of books and binkies! After breakfast we had the coolest Easter Egg hunt - the eggs talked to us! "Come find me... I'm over here!" I found the very last egg, which was hidden in one of the cabinets. I had my 18-month checkup with Dr. Chambers today. He says I'm doing great - and that I'm going to be talking like crazy by my 2-year appointment! I now weigh 25 lbs 8.5 oz, which is 70th percentile. I am 33 inches tall, just like Dathan - which is 80th percentile in height for girls. I'm going to be tall like Mommy! The doctor says that I'm very social... of course, 'cause Dathan is my best buddy!

This month Dathan and I transitioned from our infant room to a brand new toddler room at Camp Amgen. We really miss Cheryl, Alison, Sara & Daniela - but our new room is so much fun! We get to go outside all the time, and there's a cool play structure outside - even a sandbox to play in! I'm a big kid now!

Today Mommy & Grandma Didi took me shoe shopping with Dathan. Day and I are currently OBSESSED with shoes, so it was so much fun! Mommy got each of us a pair of new shoes for our transition to the toddler room at Camp Amgen, and Grandma Didi got us each a pair of awesome Converse. Mine are pink and sparkly!!! We look like rock stars now - thanks Grandma Didi!

Today Mommy & Daddy took us to the park for the first time! Grandma Didi was visiting, so she came with us too. Dathan and I got to play on the swings, go down the slides, and run around as much as we wanted! I was a little bit scared of the swings and slides at first (even the bark!), but after I saw how much fun Dathan was having I decided to give it a try. It was so much fun - I can't wait to go back!! Today was New Year's Day, and Mommy & Daddy said it was time for the baby fence to come down! They got rid of the old giant green couch, and brought in the super cool leather couch & chair. But the best thing of all... is that Dathan and I now have free reign over the whole family room & kitchen! We're freeeeeeee!

Today was Christmas, and we spent it at Grammy & Papa's house. Grandma Didi was staying there too, and Grandma Mary came to visit after we opened stockings! I got lots of fun gifts, but my favorite thing was the metallic tissue paper - I played with it all day long!! (And on Christmas Eve too!) :) See Videos!

Today was Thanksgiving, and we got to spend it with Grandma Didi, Grammy & Papa, the SoCal Gilley's, and the Gyolai's! Our cousin Nicole was our official babysitter, and we had lots of fun playing with her. By the time we finished dinner it was time to go, and Dathan and I were so tired we fell asleep before Daddy had even turned the corner in the car!

Today was Halloween, and I got to dress up like a cheerleader! Mommy said it was very appropriate, since I like to smile and yell so much! We got to go on a parade at Amgen, and we even went trick-or-treating at some of our neighbors houses. Somehow, all of our candy disappeared, though... and Mommy & Daddy both looked very happy (and guilty!).

This morning at 7:55am I officially turned 1 year old! I'm such a big girl now!

Today Dathan and I had our very first birthday party. Grandma Didi and Aunt Kathleen decorated the house with lots of streamers and balloons, and Mommy put up Sesame Street decorations too! Our family & friends all came to help celebrate, and we had a blast. We got lots of new clothes and big boy toys, and I even got to have my very first taste of SUGAR!!!

Dathan and I got weighed at the doctor's office yesterday, and somehow I weigh an ounce less than Dathan now! But I bet that won't last long! :) I now weigh 20 pounds and 9 ounces! Mommy says this is very exciting, because now we'll be able to turn around the car seats after our first birthday - and look out the front of the car! Cool!

I've been studying my brother for a while now - and after practicing my cruising a lot... and watching Dathan walk for a few weeks, I think I'm ready to start walking all by myself too! So, today I took my very first step without holding onto anything. Horray!!!

We moved into our new house today, and it's great! Mommy and Daddy love not having any stairs, and my new room is really neat - the walls are blue, and there is a strip of pink at the top. One wall even has stripes on it! I think we'll like it here. We even have a big park near us now - hopefully when I'm older Mommy & Daddy will take me all the time!

I went swimming for the very first time today, on the 4th of July! Mommy & Daddy got me a cute surfer-girl swimsuit since I had already outgrown the one Grandma D got me!! First I went in the pool with Daddy, and then with Mommy. My favorite part was splashing - I can't wait for swimming lessons!

Well, since I have 7 teeth now... Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to start brushing my teeth! I have a special toothbrush and toothpaste for infants... and now my breath smells "mixed fruit" fresh!

I officially started "cruising" late this month! For those of you that aren't familiar with the lingo, crusing means walking along while holding onto things - like the couch, or all the boxes we have around the house right now. Pretty soon, I'll be walking just like Mommy & Daddy!

Today was my 9-Month checkup with Dr. Chambers. I weighed 18 pounds and 9 ounces, which is about the 50th percentile! I am 28 inches tall, and the circumference of my head was somewhere in the 90's for percentile!! No wonder Mommy and Daddy were so perplexed when they had to buy me a toddler-size hat the other day!

Today I pulled myself up into a fully standing position! A few days ago Mommy and Daddy practiced my standing skills with me... and ever since then I've been obsessed with standing up! Luckily I have nice strong legs, so it didn't take me very long at all! Now I'm big and tall!!

Believe it or not, I got my third tooth today - just a few days after my first and second teeth!! I'm such a big girl! Dathan got his third tooth a few days ago, so now we're neck and neck!

I finally got my first tooth today... and guess what else? I got my second tooth too! Pretty amazing! Dathan has had some teeth for a while now, so I'm doing my best to catch up to him!!

I finally started sitting all by myself today! Mommy and Daddy were laughing because our last photo session was just a couple of days ago, and I was supposed to be sitting THEN! So close... but don't they know, this stuff takes time to master!

Today Dathan and I had a weight check with Dr. Chambers, to see how we're doing now that we're on formula. I now weigh 17 pounds and 6 ounces, which is all the way back up to the 50th percentile. Dr. Chambers said that I'm doing great!

This month I officially became a rolly polly girl! Dathan is army crawling all over the place now (including on top of me!), but that seems like an awful lot of work. So, I've decided that I'll just roll around to get where I want to go! Besides, it's much more fun!

Dr. Bahar gave us the thumbs up for moving on to new foods, so I finally got to have my first taste of baby food today! For some reason Mommy and Daddy decided to start with peas - I'm not really sure if I like them, but Mommy says that I'll learn to love them! :)

I feel like such a big girl now! I got to have my first tastes of rice cereal today! Eating from a spoon is a little strange - and Mommy and Daddy like to laugh at the funny faces that I make when they shovel the cereal in! Pretty soon we get to try baby foods... I hear bananas are the best!

Today was my 6-month appointment with Dr. Chambers... I'm half way to being 1 year old! I weighed 15 pounds 1.5 ounces, and I'm 25.75 inches long. I'm still showing some signs of a mild allergy to Mommy's milk, even though her diet is really restricted, so we're going to switch to some hypoallergenic formula. The doctor thinks it will help me grow big and strong!

I woke up this morning with my very first cold... a mere 4 days after starting day care!! Luckily it hardly bothers me at all - except when Mommy & Daddy decide to wipe my nose... or even worse, suction the gunk out! But since Dathan is getting his first tooth right now, I've decided to be a really good girl and give Mommy & Daddy a little bit of a break!

Today was our first day at Camp Amgen! Mommy dropped Dathan and I off on her way to the office, and we got to play with Ms. Allison, Ms. Cheryl, Ms. Daniella, and Ms. Sara! We also got to meet lots of fun new babies to play with! Now I have lots of new friends to babble with - maybe one of THEM will understand what I've been saying!

Mommy went back to work part-time today, so we get to spend our mornings with Daddy and our afternoons with Mommy! Once we go to daycare next month Mommy and Daddy will go back to working full-time... which doesn't sound like nearly as much fun as playing with Dathan and I all day long!

Mommy and Daddy have been weaning me off the swaddle for a while now, and tonight Mommy completely forgot to swaddle me before putting me down for the night - so it was my first swaddle-free night... and I did great! So, now I've officially graduated to a Sleep Sack! I'm such a big girl!

After a long day out with Mommy & Daddy, I decided to give them a treat... and giggled for them!! Mommy had me going for several minutes - we were both on our tummies and she kept saying "PUSH" and acting silly to try and teach me how to roll onto my back. She didn't realize how funny she looked!... or how funny the word "push" is!

This morning I rolled over from my back to my tummy!! Mommy and Daddy were so proud - so I decided to make them happy by doing it several times while they ate breakfast and watched me! It was so much fun! I guess now Mommy and Daddy are going to have to un-swaddle me for naps too... uh oh...!

Today was my 4-Month appointment with Dr. Chambers. He said I'm growing really well - I now weigh 14 pounds and 2 ounces, and I'm 24 1/2 inches tall. Just a little bit lighter and shorter than my "big" brother! Unfortunately we had to get more shots today, which I was very unhappy about!!

Today was my very first New Years! Dathan, Daddy and I fell asleep before the ball dropped at Midnight last night - but Mommy and Grandma Didi stayed awake by shopping online for cute new baby clothes, and having some champagne! I decided to make a New Year's Resolution to eat, sleep, grow and play like crazy this year!

Today was Christmas! I got to spend lots of time with Mommy and Daddy, and open lots of cool presents from our friends and family. Santa even brought Dathan and I two cool toys, and some stuff in our stockings too! Dathan and I decided to give Mommy & Daddy an extra special surprise today, and we took all of our naps with almost NO crying! Aren't we the best kids ever?

Today was my very first Christmas Eve! It was a very nice day - and I even got to open 2 presents from Mommy & Daddy today! One present was a new sleeper, and the other present was a new book - The Night Before Christmas. We put milk and carrots out for Santa and the reindeer, and then Mommy read to us from our new book!

I got to meet my Grandma Mary Frances today - we were so lucky that she was able to come visit for a few days! She got to feed us, burp us, hold us, and love us up! She even made Mommy and Daddy dinner and snacks one night, and did our laundry too! Day and I can't wait until we get to see her again!

Today we got to meet Kari & Jon, who came out for a quick visit. They were so nice, and even brought Day and I some fancy Calvin Klein onesies and Halloween bibs! Kari had such pretty hair... I tried to pull on it, but she kept pushing it just out of my reach! Dathan was sleeping, so they held me the whole time! I can't wait to see them again!

Today Mommy and Daddy took Dathan and I on our first walk around the block in our stroller! It probably would have been more fun if I hadn't been asleep the whole time... and if we didn't have to go back home to clean me up after I spit up! Silly Mommy forgot to bring her diaper bag or any burp cloths!

Mommy, Dathan and I came home from the hospital today! Grandma Didi was at home waiting for us, and decorated the house - inside and out - to welcome us home! It's a good thing that Grandma was there, too... otherwise I don't think Mommy and Daddy would have had time to eat anything for dinner!

I was so happy to meet Grandma Didi today, while Mommy was still in the hospital! She stayed with us for almost 3 weeks, and helped out Mommy, Daddy, Dathan and I with everything - cooking, cleaning, feeding us, changing our diapers, doing laundry... and loving us!! We were so sad when she had to leave, and can't wait to see her again!

I was born today! I would have happily stayed in Mommy's nice cozy tummy for a while longer, but Dr. Poliakin thought that it was best for my brother and I to join the world a little earlier than expected - he is such a great doctor, and brought me into the world happy and healthy!
